Houston We Don’t Have a Problem

After two postponements, SpaceX’s Starship flight test 13 successfully launched from Boca Chica at 5:51pm. It was the second flight for the latest version of the Starship, the V3, which is intended to be larger and more powerful.
The stage-one booster detached a few minutes after launch as expected, and the Super Heavy made a controlled landing offshore, in contrast to Flight 12 when it splashed into the Gulf of Mexico after losing some of its engines.
Although SpaceX made tedious hardware and operational modifications, regulators were on high alert for Flight 13. A second test flight in a row with tons of miscontrolled debris would have began to draw questions.
Not to worry though, for this flight, all mission objectives were achieved. Launching at 5:51pm light 13 ended at 6:56pm with the Starship lowering itself into the Indian Ocean.
